AUDIO VISUAL COMMISSIONING ENGINEER

Primary Job Description
To be responsible for the commissioning of audio visual and videoconferencing systems.

Customers are world-wide corporate and leisure industry users of AV equipment.

The objective is delivering audio visual excellence.

Setup of CRTILCDiDLP video projectors - for video and computer projection.

Configuration of PictureTel and Sony video conference systems.

Alignment and commissioning of show sound systems and speech reinforcement systems.

Testing of signal routing systems.

Required Skills

Excellent personal communication skills able to relate to people at all levels and work as part of a team.

Self-motivated, reliable, well organised.

Effective under pressure but possessing organisational qualities which minimises the likelihood of pressure points occurring.

Key attributes include possession of the flexibility and confidence necessary to meet the needs of our clients who are driven by deadlines.

Experience and personal qualities are likely to be as important as formal qualifications.

Good all round technical ability.

Sound knowledge of electronics with good understanding of video/data projection, video conferencing, audio, fighting and control systems.

PC literacy essential, must be able to demonstrate familiarity with MS Office Suite of products.

Preferred qualification requirements include:

Own car and clean driving licence
Relevant industry experience
Good GCSE/'O' or 'A' Level standard
City & Guilds
HNC or equivalent
Proven ability and experience in programming AMX and Crestron control systems would be an advantage.

Salary according to qualifications and experience.

Salary: £14-20k
(all remuneration in UK Pounds Sterling)
