Responsible for all mechanical design activities of air intake structures for industrial and off-shore gas turbines, including design integrity and value engineering
The products consist mainly of sheet and plate fabrication, stainless and alloy steels and structural steelwork, together with instrumentation / electrical systems
A degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering
Chartered Engineer status
Experience of mechanical design gained over a period working in industry
A background in plate or structural steel fabrication, or of the oil or power generation industries, would be advantageous
