Reporting to the Applications Development Manager within the Technical Centre, the job holder will assist in the introduction of new innovative materials and processes in accordance with the Strategic Development Plan
The responsibilities will include reporting on development activities and supporting the Technical Centre in organising technical presentations and demonstrations to both customers and internal company meetings
There will be regular communication with other industries and technical institutes to generate new concepts
Also, the job holder will be involved in the maintenance and operation of the plant within the Technical Centre
Qualified to HND/Degree level in Polymer related studies
Ideally, 2-3 years experience in plastic processing related discipline
Experience of PU moulding, vacuum forming or injection moulding would be an advantage
Must be able to work with plastic processing machinery
Must have good communication skills, both verbal and written
Must be computer literate (Microsoft Word and Excel)
German language skills an advantage
