ELECTRONICS DEVELOPMENT TECHNICIAN

Primary Job Description
To work in a small team to introduce new integrated microprocessor based electronics for scientific instruments, including build prototype boards and populate PCAs, produce test harnesses and test boxes, and conduct board and system level tests

Work will also include:

Fault finding on electronic circuits to component level
Modifications to high density surface mount PCAs
Building test boxes
Test microprocessor based circuit designs to a test specification
Support system level product testing

Required Skills
Qualified to HNC level in Electronics or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent

At least 3 years industrial experience in an electronics development environment

Skills should include:

Soldering and wiring
Familiarity with PC use including Windows and Microsoft Office

Location: Sussex Coast
Salary: c£21k
(all remuneration in UK Pounds Sterling)
