SENIOR ELECTRONICS DESIGN ENGINEER

Primary Job Description
To carry out the design and development of new products for process control system applications

Activities will include:


System design, especially interpretation between market & systems requirements
Industrial sensor networking, including CAN, Fieldbus, Echelon, Modbus
Embedded software design (C and assembler)
Analogue and digital circuit design CPLD & FPGA design
Control systems using classical & modern feedback techniques
Control system simulation
Power converter design, eg 3 phase inverters
Power supply design
EMC
Volume Production Design

The department has comprehensive design tools available, ranging from state averaging modelling of power supplies to finite element analysis of thermal characteristics

Required Skills
Qualified to degree level in Electronics

At least 3 years industrial experience in the electronics development environment

Experienced in creating design documentation within an ISO 9001 environment

Location: Sussex Coast
Salary: c£28k
(all remuneration in UK Pounds Sterling)
