FEA PROJECT ENGINEER

Primary Job Description
To conduct finite element modelling for the research and development of polymeric engineering components for major international clients
Required Skills
Must have an Honours Degree 2:1 or above in an engineering discipline

3-5 years of finite element modelling experience (preferably with ANSYS) or show a thorough working knowledge of a commercial FEA code

Experience in modelling non-metallic materials, non-linear analysis, fatigue and fracture would be an advantage

Programming experience in Fortran or C would also be an advantage

Must also possess good communication skills, self motivation, desire to work in an R & D environment and computer literacy

Location: Hertfordshire
Salary: £Negotiable
(all remuneration in UK Pounds Sterling)
